Transforming Lives through the Word of God
Purpose Statement
To reconcile people to Jesus
Enlist them in His family,
Empower them to grow in Him,
Equip them to Exhibit their purpose in the church and,
Expose them to the work of the ministry, in order to Exalt God’s name.
We believe He is the core of everything we do.

We give Him our love, reverence, service, and devotion.

We are faithfully devoted to God, our family, our church and our responsibilities.

We esteem highly the God we serve, His people, and the community through outward expressions.
We do what is right spiritually, legally, and morally.

We go beyond what’s expected and beyond what others are doing.
We encourage innovative approaches to the word of God in our worship.
We value people on all levels. We treat others with dignity and respect while expecting others to do the same.
We are a reflection of the Kingdom of God. We carry the gospel of reconciliation.
Core Beliefs
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified and buried. On the third day He rose from the dead and ascended on high where He took His seat at the right hand of God the Father Almighty until His enemies became His footstool.
We believe that the Bible is the written Word of God, inspired by God.
We believe in tithing and bringing offerings into the church. We also believe in giving alms and caring for the poor, sick, homeless, etc.
We believe in the rapture, that the dead in Christ will rise first and that those that are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.
We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
We believe in divine healing and that Jesus is the healer and that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed!
We believe in the name of Jesus and the authority invested in that name.
We believe that after death eternal life begins either in heaven or in hell; where one spends eternity is based on their decision to live according to God’s words and commandments or to rebel and deny His words and commandments.
We believe that faith is acting out on the Word of God.
We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe we are God’s instruments on earth to institute change for a better lifestyle.

The simple answer is we believe everything we have comes from God in the first place. We give because we believe God has entrusted us to be leaders for hope in our church and our community. Giving acknowledges God as the giver of everything we have (James 1:17).

Giving reflects our trust that God will provide for us (Matthew 6:19-24).

Giving allows us to be active participants in God’s work on earth (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
